Directions:

  • If you haven’t heard about social distancing or are confused about how it can help, you can learn about it here.
  • You can complete one or both of the communication challenges listed below.
  • Use a screen capture tool to grab an image or video to help you describe your solution. If you do both challenges, please make two separate entries.
  • Record a video of your project and upload it using our private survey tool here. Submissions are due by 11:59 PT on May 15, 2020. In your survey response, please include your:
    • Name,
    • Age, 
    • Where you are from, and
    • (For the Social Distance Challenge) – What you made and How it addresses the challenge. 

CHALLENGES:

  • Design an environment to help the villagers stay socially distant.  Think about sleeping arrangements and how (or if) you let your villagers move around. 
  • Build your design in Minecraft.
  • Use screen captures to show what you made and how it addresses the challenge.
  • Virus Design Challenge
  • Design a model of the Covid-19 virion.
